I just liked this....you print out a letter in a nice font and cut the letter out leaving the outline in one piece. Using that as a template lay and glue buttons (mine will be black) to a piece of fabric (ultrasuede would be grand) and pull away the paper. Voila, instant monogram art.

This is from Martha Stewart dot com..... I wanted something interesting as a shower curtain and loved this look. I ended up buying beach towels from Wal****.com in brown, aqua and lime......

to go into the 'inner bathroom', seen here. The 'outer bathroom' is going to have a huge vanity and built in shelving... This isn't a great shot of the color but the rooms are sort of tight and not really allowing for great photography... .maybe I'll do a walking video tour! :) I really am proud of the transformation we've done. Much, much thanks to all of my family members who have helped!
The dining room is almost done, just some touch ups and one more window to go!

This is the living room 'door to nowhere'.... It was actually a functioning door that leads to the small back porch, but it's not used and it's stupid. So, I'm going with camouflage! I taped off the bottom of the door to reflect the baseboard and painted the door 'out' with the wall color. It's wet in this shot because it's fresh paint but it will dry flat like the wall. We're mounting the flatscreen tv to the door and I'm going to add another layer of camouflage....

...like this!! (not my house obviously, but definitely inspiration!)

And my last item is this really stylin' chair that I got at Goodwill for ten dollars!! It's going to need a good scrubbing and one of the legs is broken but it's comfy, low and will add much needed seating to my living room! Hiding there on the right behind the sawhorse is a big wood framed mirror I also snagged at Goodwill. I'm going to paint the frame a nice bright color and hang it in the entryway.
